How Will The MP Board Half Yearly Exam Paper Be Prepared?

According to the order issued by the Directorate of Public Education on 4 November 2022 –

In the academic calendar session 2022-23, half-yearly examinations from class 9th to 12th are proposed from 01.12.2022 to 08.12.2022 in all high school and higher secondary schools of the state.

The following instructions are given for the preparation and distribution of question papers for the half-yearly examinations going to be completed on the above date, please ensure the manufacture and distribution of question papers according to the time table given in the letter.

1. All the District Education Officers will prepare the medium wise question papers of all the subjects of class 9th and 10th of all the high schools and higher secondary schools of their respective districts. If there are Hindi as well as English medium students in the district, English medium question papers should be prepared separately and printed by the principal of the concerned school according to the number of English medium students.

2. At each block level of the district, where there are 3 or less blocks, two sets of each subject of class 9th and 10th will be prepared by qualified teachers on the basis of blue print and instructions issued by the Board of Secondary Education. In the districts having more than that block, a set will be prepared for each block. A set prepared from the block level, sealed in soft and hard copy, will be brought to the district level by the development block officer.
3. At the district level, under the chairmanship of the District Education Officer, ADPC and the committee of the Principal of the School of Excellence, by selecting any three sets out of two sets of each subject of class 9th and 10th received from all the development blocks, their moderation and improvement will be done by qualified teachers. . It should be ensured that the entire syllabus has been taken in the preparation of the question paper according to the academic calendar of the month-November and the question paper is prepared on the basis of blue print. This committee will select a total of three sets from the sets of question papers of all the subjects of class 9th and 10th received from the block and after moderation will retype the question papers and keep them in softcopy.
4. The District Education Officer will select the question paper to be provided to all the High School and Higher Secondary Schools of all the subjects of class 9th and 10th for each block in such a way that the same development block does not get the question paper prepared by the same block.
5. From the soft copy of the finally selected question papers, the Principal of the School of Excellence will take out one copy of the block and school wise question papers, pack them in sealed envelopes and hand them over to the principals of all the schools of the district by 28.11.2022. Expenses can be taken from the principals. This work will be coordinated by the concerned District Education Officer.
6. Principals of High School and Higher Secondary Schools will be able to get sufficient quantity of photocopied or printed question paper before the examination according to the number of students of class 9th and 10th of their school from a set of question papers received from the excellent school.
7. Formation of question papers at the block level, moderation at the district level and selection of papers to be sent finally, a set of sealed papers by the principal of the excellent school and a sufficient number of question papers prepared by the school principals, till the completion of the examination. The responsibility of maintaining the confidentiality of the question papers will be of all the attached officers, principals and question paper maker teachers. Appropriate disciplinary action will be proposed in case of any untoward situation.
